Sustainability in Tourism and Hospitality
Sustainability in Tourism and Hospitality (STH) is a multi-disciplinary journal dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse on sustainability within tourism and hospitality industries. It seeks rigorous, impactful research that effectively connects knowledge with practice to drive real-world change. In addition to tourism and hospitality studies, STH also welcomes manuscripts on other topics such as efficient energy use, waste management, climate action, safeguarding cultural heritage, and green technology.
The journal aims to:
• Foster cross-disciplinary dialogue that bridges social sciences and other major sciences, such as natural sciences and applied sciences to provide greater insights.
• Advance theoretical frameworks and innovative models that enhance knowledge and inform the practice of sustainable development in tourism and hospitality.
• Address issues like overtourism, environmental impacts, socio-cultural challenges and vulnerable locations in the context of tourism and hospitality.
• Scrutinize the effects of tourism and hospitality on ecosystems, wildlife, biodiversity, water, energy, emissions, and indigenous communities.
• Propose and establish effective solutions to future-proof tourism and hospitality for the good of the future generations and meaningful outcomes.
