Aims and scope

Journal of Public Mental Health (JPMH) provides a forum for dissemination and debate on all aspects of public mental health.

This international interdisciplinary journal welcomes contributions from all sectors involved in public mental health and covers:

  • Policy analysis from a public mental health perspective
  • Economics
  • Biomedicine/bioscience
  • Regeneration/the built environment
  • Developing local strategies
  • Identifying indicators and measuring success, evaluation of  effectiveness
  • Culture, the arts, leisure, sports
  • Different cultural/ethnic perspectives

JPMH is a valuable resource for people working in research, education, health authorities and boards, primary care, public health and health promotion, local government, policy analysis, town planning, the voluntary and community sector and all areas of mental health, including the user/survivor movement.
