Our book production process
Once you've submitted your manuscript, it's time for us to get to work on the task of publishing your book.
There are a number of stages involved, and it can take a little while, so we thought it would be worth setting them out here. And if you're not sure where you are in this process, or how it works, just get in touch using the form below, and we'll help you out.

Overview
We've outlined the book proposal and manuscript-preparation processes elsewhere, so here we'll focus on what happens once we've received your first draft.
Your book will go through the following stages:
- Copy editing
- Typesetting
- Indexing
- Proofing
- Cover design
This process will take around 6 months, unless your book is an Emerald Point publication, which due to its shorter form can be fast-tracked.
