Contemporary Perspectives on Family Research is indexed in:
Contemporary Perspectives in Family Research (CPFR) provides an international forum for the very latest in family research; examining family structures, behaviours and relationships from a variety of theoretical, methodological and disciplinary viewpoints.
Focusing on 'hot topics' at the leading edge of family research, this series provides in-depth coverage from expert authors.
Previous volumes have covered issues such as economic stress, family relations in the 21st Century, parent-child relations in later life, family living spaces, conjugal trajectories, and more.
Each volume recognizes the mainstream of family research topics and provides detailed investigations within those topics. The series honours the internationalization of family research and provides perspectives on each topic from a truly cross-cultural point of view.
The series as a whole provides in-depth analyses and diverse perspectives on contemporary family issues, making it a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and scholars interested in family studies.
We are passionate about working with researchers globally to deliver a fairer, more inclusive society. This perhaps has never been more important than in today’s divided world.

The field of second language learning has expanded rapidly, highlighting that pedagogical knowledge differs across disciplines and that research findings are not always transferable. Researchers continue to advance understanding of second language–specific pedagogy. The Research in Second Language Learning series will provide a dedicated outlet, promoting research-based decision-making in second language teaching and learning.
The field of second language learning research has grown rapidly in recent years. Educators increasingly recognize that pedagogical knowledge varies significantly across subject domains and that findings from one area of educational research may not apply to another. This recognition underscores the need for discipline-specific inquiry in second language learning.
Researchers in second language learning continue to deepen our understanding of pedagogy that is specific to second language contexts. The Research in Second Language Learning series aims to advance this knowledge base by providing a platform for innovative, research-driven scholarship. Its objective is to inform and enhance the decision-making processes of educators and policymakers through evidence-based insights.
The series will serve as an outlet for emerging and established scholars to present theoretical, empirical, and practice-oriented studies that address second language teaching and learning. It will feature works that explore cultural, linguistic, and contextual dimensions of pedagogy, promoting a research-based approach to improving second language education.
The series Research in Second Language Learning invites book proposals from scholars and researchers in the fields of second language and literacy for authored or edited volumes. Submissions from around the world are welcome. While the series maintains a broad thematic scope, it is particularly interested in works that offer innovative insights and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of second language and literacy research.
