Journal of Responsible Tourism Management
Journal of Responsible Tourism Management (JRTM) is a scholarly, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes interdisciplinary studies in the fields of responsible tourism. The journal focuses on responsible tourism concepts and practices encompassing economic, socio-cultural, and environmental dimensions. It addresses responsible behaviors such as mindful travel, cultural sensitivity, and sustainable consumption. Emphasis is placed on the roles of various stakeholders including communities, governments, businesses, and educational institutions in co-creating meaningful tourism values. It also covers policies, strategies, and case studies that support responsible tourism and the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in local contexts.
JRTM is part of the Responsible Borneo (REBORN) initiative, which promotes responsible tourism collaboration across the region.
