The last year has been challenging for everyone. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on people’s mental health and well-being, causing social isolation and loneliness. Lockdown restrictions have taken over our daily lives, vulnerable people are having to shield and those that live alone or are working remotely are feeling isolated now more than ever. It’s imperative that we all stay connected not only with our own networks but community-based networks and resources, health care systems and technologies.
