Call for Application - 2026 Writers Workshops for JICE
The Journal of International Cooperation in Education (JICE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that engages with unconventional approaches to educational development and knowledge production. We welcome original research articles based on empirical data, as well as theoretical, conceptual, and methodological papers that draw on underexplored intellectual resources to critically examine dominant policy frameworks and practices in the Global South.

About the Workshop
JICE will host an online Writers’ Workshop for scholars intending to submit their manuscripts to Vol. 29 (scheduled for publication in 2027) or subsequent issues. The workshop will consist of two sessions held on the following dates:
First Session
June 8, 2026 17:00–20:00 (JST)
June 9, 2026 10:00–13:00 (JST)
Second Session
September 17, 2026 17:00–20:00 (JST)
September 18 2026 10:00–13:00 (JST)

Presentation opportunities are limited to those who commit to submitting a manuscript to JICE Vol. 29 or a later issue. Those who are not presenting but wish to attend as observers are also warmly welcome.
