The Journal of Economic Studies (JES) publishes high quality research findings and commentary on international developments in economics, maintaining a sound balance between economic theory and application at both micro and macro levels

ISSN: 0144-3585
eISSN: 1758-7387

Aims and scope

Articles on economic issues between individual nations, emerging and evolving trading blocs are particularly welcomed, and contributors are encouraged to spell out the practical implications of their work for economists in government and industry.

Readable, accessible contributions cut through the complex field of economics to make a genuinely valuable contribution to the current understanding of the subject and the development of new ideas. Theoretical and applied papers in Monetary and Macroeconomics, Labour Economics, and Finance are preferred.
