Pransky interviews academics who have become commercially successful – either personally or by virtue of a company or area of technology that they have founded. The aim of this Q&A style interview series is to act as a bridge between the academic and commercial robot communities and to share experiences, technological stories, inspiration and advice from roboticists and inventors who have achieved significant commercial success. Pransky asks the questions that would be asked by both an academic researcher looking to turn entrepreneur, as well as a commercial investor considering robotic technology.
Pransky has interviewed more than 50 international pioneers of the robotic fields of: warehouse and logistics, surgical, human-collaborative, agricultural, space, healthcare, service, socially assistive, humanoid, field, telerobotics, rehabilitation, rescue, consumer, and the green economy.
