In 2023 we were highly commended in the 2023 Alison Morrison Diversity and Inclusivity Award, part of the Independent Publishing Awards. The award recognises efforts to make our industry more diverse and inclusive, both internally and through the content that is published, with the judges commenting "Emerald is committing time and resources to making sure the workplace is inclusive. They’ve cemented inclusivity across the whole business."
