Emerald’s Amy Jones recognised at the 2025 CIO 100 Awards

8th October 2025

Emerald Publishing is celebrating the recognition of Chief Transformation Officer, Amy Jones, who has received the Visionary Leadership in Technology award at the CIO 100 Awards UK. The award highlights Amy’s impact in driving purposeful transformation.

The CIO 100 Awards UK acknowledges the best and brightest technology leaders in the UK, celebrating their digital transformation achievements.

Appointed to Emerald’s C suite in 2024, Amy leads a broad remit spanning Delivery, IT Operations, and Architecture & Software Engineering, work that underpins Emerald’s digital platform strategy and its commitment to resilient, user centred technology.

In September, Amy joined industry leaders at the CIO Summit UK to discuss “Tech, Turmoil and Tomorrow: Mapping risks in an uncertain world,” sharing practical perspectives on organisational agility, resilience, and the role of technology in shaping future business models. Her participation underscored Emerald’s voice in the technology community and its focus on balancing speed with security and long term planning.

Reflecting on the CIO 100 recognition, Amy Jones said:

“It’s an honour to be recognised and this achievement is a testament to the exceptional team at Emerald Publishing. Their dedication, ingenuity, and shared commitment to purposeful transformation have made everything we’ve accomplished this year possible. I’m proud to work alongside colleagues who consistently deliver impact and innovation while staying true to the values that define our organisation."
