The global academic publisher has been recognised alongside organisations like Sony Music UK, Butlin’s and NHS Business Services Authority.
The news follows Emerald being listed as a Top 50 Inspiring Workplace in the UK and Ireland and a Times Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality earlier this year.
The 2025 Global Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces list celebrates organisations from around the world that are redefining what it means to put people first. These forward-thinking companies have demonstrated a genuine commitment to building positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace cultures, where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
The Global Top 100 list is drawn from the highest-scoring winners in each of IW’s regions worldwide, including Asia, Australasia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & Africa, North America and the UK & Ireland.
The awards follow a strict judging process in which participants are asked to provide proof of their investment in people across six key areas. These are:
- Culture and Purpose
- Leadership
- Wellbeing
- Inclusion
- Employee Voice
- Employee Experience.
Katy Snell, People Director at Emerald Publishing said: "It's a great honour to be recognised as a Global Top Inspiring Workplace. The experience of our people shapes our identity, and we make it a priority to create an environment that is supportive and inclusive.
"Our achievements are only possible because of the dedication and talent of our team. That's why we're committed to providing more than just a place to work, we're building a culture that motivates, supports, and brings out the best in each individual. Collaboration, creativity, and professional growth are core to who we are and we take great pride in making a positive impact not only within our organisation but also in the communities around us."
