Emerald listed in Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces 2025

16th May 2025

For the second year running, Emerald Publishing has been announced as one of the Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces in the UK and Ireland.

Emerald was ranked 25th in the Top 50 at an exclusive ceremony in London, UK, on May 15th alongside organisations like Alzheimer’s Society, Sony Music UK, Butlin's, and NHS Business Services Authority, NAB.

A special recognition was also received for Emerald’s Employee Voice, Employee Engagement and Wellbeing.

The awards follow a strict judging process in which participants are asked to provide proof of their investment in people across six key areas. These are:

  1. Culture and Purpose
  2. Leadership
  3. Wellbeing
  4. Inclusion
  5. Employee Voice
  6. Employee Experience.

Celebrating its 10th year, Inspiring Workplaces™ (IW) honours organisations that put their PeopleFirst, creating cultures of trust, purpose, and belonging. More than just a great place to work, these workplaces empower individuals to thrive, fuelling innovation, performance, and lasting impact.

Vicky Williams, CEO at Emerald Publishing said: "We're delighted to be recognised as an Inspiring Workplace for the second year running. Our employee experience is an integral part of who we are, and everyone is encouraged and supported to be authentically themselves.

"We know that without our people we could not achieve the ambitious goals that have allowed us to get where we are today, and so we strive to go above and beyond and create an inspiring workplace. We foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, where everyone is encouraged to collaborate, innovate and grow professionally whilst giving back to our local communities."
