Emerald Publishing has been announced as one of the Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces in the UK and Ireland.
Emerald was ranked 32nd in the Top 50 at an exclusive ceremony in London on May 17th alongside organisations like Pan Macmillan, NHS, and Hovis. The Inspiring Workplace Awards is the world’s number one non-survey based awards recognising PeopleFirst organisations across the UK and Ireland.
The awards follow a strict judging process in which participants are asked to provide proof of their investment in people across six key areas. These are:
- Culture and Purpose
- Leadership
- Wellbeing
- Inclusion
- Employee Voice
- Employee Experience.
The news comes as The Inspiring Workplace Awards prepares to celebrate 10 years of highlighting organisations that create a positive and inclusive work culture for their people, where professional and personal development are key to the organisation’s success.
Vicky Williams, Chief Executive Officer, Emerald Publishing said: “We’re delighted with the news that we’ve been recognised as an Inspiring Workplace. This great achievement comes as a result of the huge effort our colleagues put in to ensure Emerald is a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring place to work.”
“We’re committed to providing our people with the opportunity to thrive and the support they need for their skills and talents to grow alongside the business. Whether that’s time for development, learning from other colleagues, or crafting their roles around their strengths and goals, we’re always working on ways to ensure we continue to put our people first.” You can find more information and a full breakdown of the Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces here.
