Emerald and Masader announce partnership to expand academic resource access in Oman

Under the esteemed patronage of the Oman Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MOHERI), Emerald Publishing has partnered with Masader, Oman’s National Electronic Library for Research.

This collaboration, effective as of September 1, 2024, will empower academic professionals and researchers across Oman with access to Emerald’s comprehensive digital resources, which include a vast collection of eJournals and eBooks in critical fields such as business, management, civil engineering, social sciences, economics, and more.

Through Masader’s extensive library network, this partnership will foster academic growth and support Oman’s higher education institutions by providing access to high-quality, peer-reviewed content that strengthens research and learning initiatives.

This partnership with Emerald marks a significant step forward for academic resources and research capabilities within Oman. By making a rich collection of global research accessible to our academic network, we are supporting the growth of knowledge across critical fields that drive both national and global innovation.

Masader, Oman’s Virtual Science Library, was launched in 2017 to provide Oman’s academic and research community with centralised access to extensive digital resources, including e-books, journals, and databases. This initiative by Oman’s Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (MOHERI) supports national academic institutions by offering seamless access to international research materials.
