We are excited to announce a call for new Editorial Advisory Board Members for the On the Horizon: The International Journal of Learning Futures. As we continue to strive for excellence and innovation in learning futures, we are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable professionals to join our editorial team to serve our mission.
Position Overview: Editorial Advisory Board Members play a crucial role in guiding the direction of the journal, reviewing submitted manuscripts, and ensuring the quality and relevance of published content. As a member of the Editorial Advisory Board, you will also promote the journal within your networks, submit special issue ideas and submit your own research to the journal.
Criteria for Selection: To be considered for the Editorial Advisory Board, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Academic and Professional Expertise:
A doctoral degree in the relevant field.
Possess a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Demonstrated contributions to the field through research, practice, or other relevant activities. - Experience in Peer Review:
Prior experience in manuscript review for academic journals or conferences is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the peer review process and commitment to providing constructive feedback. - Commitment and Availability:
Willingness to dedicate time to review submissions, provide feedback, and participate in board meetings.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage review tasks efficiently. - Ethical Standards:
Adherence to the highest ethical standards in research and publication.
A commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the review process. - Collaborative Spirit:
Ability to work collaboratively with other board members, authors, and editorial staff.
Open to new ideas and approaches for improving the journal.
