Open Call for papers – Journal of Responsible Production and Consumption

Journal of Responsible Production and Consumption

The Journal of Responsible Production and Consumption (JRPC) invites submissions for articles that advance knowledge, improve prospects for people and the Planet whilst contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since sustainable consumption and production aims at doing more and better with less, it is not just producers but us as consumers that need to make more responsible choices. This open access journal advances knowledge in respect of resources (human and physical), energy efficiency and sustainable infrastructure. Your research should contribute to and advance studies that contribute to a more ethical, responsible, and sustainable way of working.

Your research should be of value to practitioners and industry, as well as to the academic community. All article types and methodologies will be considered where content is relevant to current needs, offering specific guidance and problem-solving in key areas and contributing to the achievement of the UN SDGs. Further, we actively encourage an interdisciplinary approach particularly where this engenders greater collaboration between academia and for profit and non-profit enterprises.

The following are some suggested areas of focus with the aim of including work relating to the manufacturing and service sectors, profit, and not-for-profit organizations, including, but not limited to:

  • Production and Operations Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics
