Magazine of Concrete Research Announces New Editorial Appointments

The Magazine of Concrete Research is pleased to announce the promotion of new esteemed Board members to the position of Editor. Long-yuan Li and Robert Vollum will now oversee the peer review process, bringing their extensive expertise and leadership to the journal.

Professor Long-yuan Li from the University of Plymouth has over 30 years of experience in civil engineering. His research focuses on the durability of concrete structures, geopolymer concrete, and the fire safety of steel and concrete. He has authored five research books and published over 200 technical papers in SCI-indexed journals. He is internationally recognized for his work on electrochemical treatment of chloride-attacked concrete, fire analysis of concrete materials, and the development of geopolymer concrete.

Professor Robert Vollum of Imperial College London has a distinguished career in civil engineering, focusing on all aspects of the design of reinforced concrete structures. His most recent contributions are in the fields of restraint induced cracking, robustness and shear in slabs and beams. His research into concrete structures and contributions to European concrete design standards have earned him recognition in the field.

Professor Peter Hewlett, the Editor in Chief, continues to lead the journal.
