The Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society (JICES) has recently established an Early Career Review Board (ECRB) and is pleased to announce a call for early career researchers and early career professionals to join this community of peer reviewers.

As an international journal focused on social and ethical issues related to information and communication technologies, JICES recognises the importance of nurturing the next generation of scholars and practitioners. We are committed to providing a platform where early career individuals can develop their editorial skills, gain insight into the publishing process, and contribute to the advancement of the field.

We welcome applications from:

  • Early Career Researchers: Doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty members within five years of completing their PhD.
  • Early Career Professionals: Working information professionals, librarians, and technologists new to the field who have a strong interest in evidence-based practice and research.

Expectations

Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, timely, and objective feedback on manuscripts. On average, you may be invited to review 2–3 papers per year.
