New Associate Editors of International Journal of Wine Business Research

International Journal of Wine Business Research

We are delighted to welcome two new Associate Editors of International Journal of Wine Business Research (IJWBR), Roberta Capitello and Natalia Velikova:

Roberta Capitello, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Department of Business Administration, University of Verona, Italy, where she teaches wine economics and food and wine marketing. Her research area is wine and food marketing and, on this subject, she has a broad study portfolio. She is author of more than 60 refereed papers and book chapters, and the first editor of two books. She is particularly interested in wine consumer behaviour, wine market analysis, sustainability in the food and wine sectors, wine business strategies (especially in the fields of family firms and risk management), wine communication, wine tourism, and territorial marketing. She has experience in international research project coordination.

Natalia Velikova holds a joint appointment between the Department of Hospitality & Retail Management at Texas Tech University, where she works as Professor of Wine Marketing, and the Texas Wine Marketing Research Institute, where she serves as the Associate Director. Natalia teaches courses in wine business, wine tourism, and wine appreciation. She has held Visiting Professor positions at the University of Otago (New Zealand), Burgundy School of Wine & Spirits Business and EM Strasbourg Business School (France). Natalia maintains an active research agenda with focus on wine consumer behavior, emerging wine markets, and wine tourism. She is also strongly dedicated to professional service in support of her discipline. Natalia has been an active member of the Academy of Wine Business Research and currently serves on the Executive Board as Secretary. The significance of her scholarly work and professional involvement has been recognized by several awards. These included fellowships commissioned through nationally and internationally highly regarded programs, such as the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award; as well as the Emerald Literati Network Award for Excellence for Best Paper and Outstanding Reviewer.

Roberta and Natalia bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role and we look forward to working with them to ensure IJWBR's continued progression and success.
