2024 IJSI Journal Awards Presented at IRAS 2025
On 11 September 2025, the 3rd International Symposium on Risk Analysis and Safety of Complex Structures (IRAS 2025) was held in Wrocław, Poland, jointly organized by the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS), the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (PTMTS), and Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The symposium focused on “Safety and Risk Analysis of Complex Structures: Theoretical Innovations and Breakthroughs,” attracting nearly 100 experts and scholars from 15 countries, including China, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
The symposium opened with welcome remarks from Professor Shun-Peng Zhu (University of Electronic Science and Technology of China), Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Structural Integrity (IJSI, Q1); and Professor Grzegorz Lesiuk (Wrocław University of Science and Technology), Chair of IRAS 2025. During the opening session, the 2024 IJSI Journal Awards were presented to the winners in recognition of their contributions to the journal and to the field of structural integrity and failure analysis.
The 2024 IJSI Journal Awards recipients are:
IJSI Senior Career Award: Professor Qingyuan Wang (Sichuan University, China), Professor Sudath Siriwardane (University of Stavanger, Norway) and Professor Olha Zvirko (The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ukraine)

IJSI Early Career Award: Dr. Lukai Song (Beihang University, China), Dr. Yasmin Murad (University of Jordan, Jordan) and Dr. Mohamed El Amine Ben Seghier (Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway)
