Dear esteemed authors, reviewers, and supporters of the Journal of Islamic Economic Studies (IES),
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of our decision to discontinue the publication of the journal, effective immediately.
The IES journal was founded in 1993 (1414H) and is considered one of the oldest and most respected scholarly journals in the Islamic economics and finance domain. It provides a platform for scholarly discussions and research on the principles, practices, and applications of Islamic economics. The journal’s website receives thousands of downloads every month and over ten thousand abstract views from readers worldwide. We are grateful for the support and contributions of our esteemed authors, reviewers, and editorial team, who have played a crucial role in the success of the journal.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all our readers, authors, reviewers, and supporters for their dedication and commitment to advancing Islamic economic studies. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we hope the knowledge shared through this journal will continue to inspire and inform future research and practice in this field.
