Now you can guarantee you have the right selection of eBooks with our Evidence-based Acquisition (EBA) model. You’ll have access to our entire eBooks catalogue for a year, then select the eBooks you’d like to own in perpetuity based on usage and download data.
How Emerald’s EBA model is better than the rest
- Transparent pricing: there is no “behind the curtain” pricing for our EBA model. The minimum purchase following the access period is 50 titles, though more can be purchased based on usage statistics.
- Enjoy unlimited, concurrent access through the access period.
- No DRM (Digital Rights Management): patrons can print and download through the 12 months
- Many scholarly publisher EBA models preclude the purchase of frontlist titles added during the access period. With Emerald these eBooks are available for selection.
How it works
- Set up your 12-month access period
- Patrons will have access to over 2,900 titles, including just-published frontlist eBooks added to the collection
- Receive ongoing usage and download updates throughout the 12 months, along with promotional materials to remind patrons of the available content
- At the end of the access period, select the eBooks you’d like permanent access to.
