29–30 June 2020
The 2020 EurOMA Conference will take place virtually on the above dates.
The theme for this year is 'Managing Operations for Impact', which acknowledges that in today’s challenging times scholars should be both relevant and rigorous.
This theme both celebrates the roots of our subject as a practical endeavour, and looks forward to the way in which our subject can contribute to the challenges that face the environment, society, organisations and individuals in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world.
Don't miss
Keep an eye out for the session ‘Operationalising change: an impact literacy approach to research and innovation’ on Monday 29th June at 12.45–14.15 with Dr Julie Bayley, Director of Research Impact Development, University of Lincoln, UK. The session will look at;
- An overview of impact, implementation challenges and impact literacy
- Attendees work then through a series of impact literacy questions, guided by the speaker, to consider how impact relates to their own work and consider strategies for improvement
- Sharing challenges and ideas, Q&A
