These chapter themes are not intended to be exhaustive but are designed to stimulate critical thinking about the role of Industry 5.0 technologies, sustainability practices, and the UN SDGs in driving global transformation. We welcome submissions addressing relevant themes related to the intersection of these innovations with societal, economic, and environmental resilience. As human-centric digital transformation, sustainability, and innovation become integral to shaping a sustainable and inclusive world, organisations, policymakers, and communities must strategically navigate these changes to thrive. This book seeks to bridge the knowledge gap, offering a comprehensive exploration of how Industry 5.0 technologies – including AI, robotics, and advanced automation – can align with SDG priorities to foster a more equitable and sustainable future.

How to submit

Submitted chapters should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for review or publication elsewhere. This book is intended to serve as a foundational text for academics, researchers, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, MBA/executive education, practitioners, and policymakers interested in understanding the critical intersection of Industry 5.0 and the SDGs. It seeks to provide actionable insights and inspire collaboration across sectors to create a sustainable and inclusive world.

NOTE: Chapters must adhere strictly to the following guidelines:

  • Abstract: 200–250 words (clearly state the chapter’s focus, methodology, and relevance to the book theme).
  • Keywords: 6-8 relevant keywords
  • Full Chapter Length: 6,000 – 6,300 words (inclusive of references and tables). Please note: Submissions that do not comply with the specified word count will be desk-rejected without review.
  • File type: Word (ONLY).
  • Format: Chapters should be submitted in an editable Microsoft Word document and follow a consistent academic style (APA 7th edition or in accordance with Emerald Publishing guidelines).

All submitted chapters will undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure scholarly quality, originality, and alignment with the book’s scope.
