Introduction
The field of second language learning has expanded rapidly, highlighting that pedagogical knowledge differs across disciplines and that research findings are not always transferable. Researchers continue to advance understanding of second language–specific pedagogy. The Research in Second Language Learning series will provide a dedicated outlet, promoting research-based decision-making in second language teaching and learning.
The field of second language learning research has grown rapidly in recent years. Educators increasingly recognize that pedagogical knowledge varies significantly across subject domains and that findings from one area of educational research may not apply to another. This recognition underscores the need for discipline-specific inquiry in second language learning.
Aims and Objectives
Researchers in second language learning continue to deepen our understanding of pedagogy that is specific to second language contexts. The Research in Second Language Learning series aims to advance this knowledge base by providing a platform for innovative, research-driven scholarship. Its objective is to inform and enhance the decision-making processes of educators and policymakers through evidence-based insights.
