Special issue call for papers from Managerial Finance

Topic and coverage of the special issue:

Managerial Finance solicits high-quality papers for a special issue focusing on topics relating to Mutual Funds.  We are especially interested in studies on mutual fund management, fund flows, exchange traded funds, fund regulation, and the impact of mutual funds on underlying markets.  Possible topics include:

  • Mutual Fund Management
  • Fund Flows
  • Exchange traded Funds
  • Leveraged Funds
  • Mutual Fund Holdings and Performance
  • Socially Responsible Funds
  • Active versus Passive Fund Management
  • High Frequency Trading and Fund Performance
  • Mutual Fund Fees and Performance
  • Mutual Funds and Liquidity
  • Effect of Discount Brokerages on Fund Flows


Papers should be submitted electronically online via the Managerial Finance submission system, . Please follow the journal submission guidelines and specify that the manuscript is for the special issue “Mutual Funds” in the submission process.
While the submission deadline is March 31, 2017, authors are encouraged to submit their papers
