February 13, 2015, Prepasup Paris

Call for Papers
Prepasup Paris will hold the 1st International Conference in Paris, in partnership with LITEM research laboratory, devoted to financial regulation and supervision and their role to prevent future crisis, titled: « Will more banking regulation reduce the risk of future crises? » on the 13th of February 2015. This event is an opportunity for practitioners and researchers interested in the interdisciplinary theme of financial regulation to meet and discuss their findings and concerns.

More regulation is on the drawing board. In the wake of the international financial crisis, each country has adopted new rules and standards which have had an impact on the strategies of financial institutions, and the mechanisms of governance of these institutions. Still the consequences for the efficiency and cyclicity of the economy as a whole of enacted and planned reforms have not been thoroughly assessed.

General topics of this international conference include, but is not limited to:

  • Financial regulation and supervision
  • Banking profitability and risk-taking
  • Governance of Financial Institutions
  • Systemic risk
  • Market stability
