Special issue call for papers from Performance Measurement and Metrics
Publish in PMM on Bibliometrics and quality
Performance Measurement and Metrics is a quarterly, refereed, international (LIS) journal, and is the journal to publish in, in the niche area of Measurement and Metrics in Library and Information Science. It has a close association with biannual Northumbria Conference at York.
If you specialise in or have a specific interest in papers on measurement and metrics in Library and Information Services we'd like to hear from you. We are looking to publish journal issues on the following special themes in 2014 and 2015:
- Bibliometrics topics
- Quality techniques and quality improvement
- Setting standards of service quality
What are we looking for
We are looking for authors with a solid knowledge of measurement and metrics to submit papers in these formats:
- Conceptual papers citing the existing literature and providing innovative contributions that improve our understanding of the topic
- Empirical research articles using qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods
- Case studies which focus on new developments. Case study articles should set the context by incorporating a literature review and should provide an evaluative, rather than just a descriptive, account of the case study
