Cognitive engineering is the application of cognitive science and psychology to understand the fundamental principles behind human cognition, actions and performance in supporting human-problem solving and maximizing overall performance.

This series serves as a forum where scientists and practitioners can engage in a dialogue to review, discuss, analyze and debate, the vast number of human performance issues that arise when individuals and groups interact with each other, the technology, the equipment, and the organizational context.
