About the Author
After graduating from a highly rated business school from accounting and finance major with honors, the author worked as a corporate and commercial banking manager in the third largest bank with 15.000 employees for a total 19 years,the affiliate of Uni Credit Group in Turkey. In the first 11 years of her banking career, she worked as a member of the carefully selected corporate banking team where she was appointed as the responsible officer from financial and international trade activities of the largest portfolios of domestic and multi national corporations of the bank, including BP, Shell, P and G, Allianz and Novartis. Her job description included daily follow up of cash flows and all banking and foreign trade transactions of those companies within the bank, together with project financing, budgeting, annual credit proposal preparations and financial analyses. In the last 8 years of her banking career, she worked as the manager of a commercial banking branch within the same financial institution, where she had the chance to work closely with small and medium sized businesses and learn how to meet their financial needs by witnessing their challenges and growth processes.
