This mini-series provides a practical guide on what makes good peer review from three perspectives. It includes interviews with an editor-in-chief, a reviewer and an author who work with Emerald and ICE Journals. The series aim is to show why journals need peer reviewers in order to validate and produce good-quality research, and how valuable reviewers are in contributing to the development of new, significant and impactful contributions to the existing body of work. 

Each podcast emphasises the positives and benefits of being a reviewer, recognising the essential role constructive review plays in the publication process. Our series shows how peer review creates a vital dialogue between editor-in-chief, author and reviewer, that helps to progress research to be the best it can be.
