Call for library and information science research proposals from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka.

Emerald is delighted to offer a research grant for a proposal in the field of library and information science research. Applications should address the dissemination of knowledge with a specific orientation toward benefit for countries mentioned above.

Proposal format*:

  • Title of the proposal 
  • Introduction 
  • Objectives 
  • Proposed Research Design 
  • Proposed Tools and Techniques  
  • Proposed Timelines  
  • Proposed Budget 
  • References 

Things to remember: 

  1. Do not include any personal information in the proposal document 
  2. Word count: 2000 words maximum 
  3. Tables, figures, appendices and reference lists, if provided, do not count towards the 2,000 word limit
