Aims and scope

The Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies publishes double-blind peer-reviewed research on issues relevant to agriculture and food value chain in emerging economies in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

The journal welcomes original research, particularly empirical/applied, quantitative and qualitative work on topics pertaining to policies, processes, and practices in the agribusiness arena in emerging economies to inform researchers, practitioners and policy makers.

The coverage includes but is not restricted to:

Prof Ashok K. Mishra Appointed New Editor of the Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies

Prof Ashok K. Mishra has been appointed new Editor of the Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies from the 01st of July 2017. Prof Mishra is Kemper and Ethel Marley Foundation Chair in Food Management, Morrison School of Agribusiness, W. P. Carey School of Business, at Arizona State University, where he conducts research and teaching activities in public policy, finance, agribusiness and food security.
