IFLA Knowledge Management Section Satellite Meeting: Lyon, France, 15th August 2014

The Knowledge Management Section of IFLA is delighted to announce a Satellite Meeting to be held in Lyon, France on 15th August 2014. The topic of the meeting is Knowledge Management as a Vital Tool for Change Management. In particular, the focus will be on knowledge management in libraries.

The program

This meeting will feature a keynote speaker who is perhaps the world’s top expert on Knowledge Management:

Olivier Serrat
Principal Knowledge Management Specialist - Regional and Sustainable Development Department
Asian Development Bank, Philippines

He will address topics on the theme of 'Toward a Library Renaissance', as follows:

  • Key Trends Affecting Libraries
  • Recommendations for Future Libraries
  • A Skills Framework for Librarians
  • Forestalling Change Fatigue: Future Search and the Resilient Organization
