Aims and Scope

Effective teams form the heart of successful organizations. However, team management practices are often disconnected from the theoretical and empirical advancements in the field of team research.

Team Performance Management is a peer-reviewed journal that bridges the gap between research and practice by publishing empirical and theoretical papers where the claims are evidence-based and the conclusions have practical value. The journal contributes to the successful implementation and development of work teams and team-based organizations by providing a forum for sharing experience and learning to stimulate thought and transfer ideas. TPM invites contributions from scholars and practitioners using a variety of research methods from experimental to action research.

Key benefits of the journal include:

  • Find out how to design and manage effective teams.
  • Examine issues arising from the shift to team-based working in organizations (changes in performance measurement, the use of information systems, rewards and compensation).
  • Gain advice on how to support individual employees in developing their teamworking skills.
  • Discover the most recent developments in team research.
