Aims and scope

In today's competitive business and industrial environment, it is essential to have an academic journal offering the most current theoretical and practical knowledge on quality and reliability to ensure that top management is fully conversant with new thinking, new frameworks or roadmaps, new concepts and principles, techniques and developments in the field.

The International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management (IJQRM) deals with all aspects of business improvements and with all aspects of manufacturing, services, public sector and even voluntary sector from the training of (senior) managers, to innovations in organizing and processing to raise standards of product and service quality. Moreover, with the evolution of digital transformation / Industry 4.0, the skills and competencies of future quality professionals are constantly changing in many modern world class organisations.

The primary scope of the IJQRM is on the management aspects of quality and reliability and not engineering or heavy mathematical components of quality and reliability. This implies that authors who are keen to publish their manuscripts in the IJQRM must ensure that the work must be practical and useful to middle and senior managers in industry.

The authors are encouraged to publish literature review papers, case study papers, action research papers, conceptual framework papers etc. with a strong research methodology section in the main body of the manuscript.

Topics covered in IJQRM include but are not limited to:
