In the current practice of public administration of economic systems, social issues are often subordinated. In the economy management, the emphasis is placed on accelerating economic growth and improving national measures to consolidate the positions of the economic system in the global markets and improve its position in world rankings. In turn, the implementation of state policy is focused on the development of international economic relations and the promotion of national interests in the world arena.
The outer orientation of management in economics and politics is conditioned by the powerful influence of globalization on modern economic systems and is typical for both developing and developed countries of the world. Its direct consequence is inadequate attention to topical domestic issues of social development. As a result, the goal of improvement of the population quality of life that is recognized as a key priority of public administration in economics and politics, is actually secondary and is achieved with whatever funds remain – given the public financing gap, randomly (as part of certain measures) and the lack of formedness of the institutional environment.
This special issue is designed to justify the need and develop research and practice recommendations for systematic social management in economics and politics. Fundamental and applied research (particularly but not exceptionally) on the following topics is welcome for publication in the special issue:
-Non-economic factors of development of economic systems;
-Education as a factor of social development;
-Youth as the party to employment relations and the beneficiary of social safeguard from the state;
