The world of finance is undergoing severe volatility and instability, which has only been exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is, therefore, necessary that innovative and creative financing instruments are designed with the aim of tackling this uncertainty. A consciously ethico-economic approach, incorporating financial instruments and models with moral inclusivity, is required in order to move forward in the post-Covid-19 world. Through the examination of case studies from financial markets across the globe, this issue aims to provide a forum for scholarship exploring the ways in which financial activities can be carried out in a new way.
This special issue of International Journal of Ethics and Systems welcomes papers written from a comparative ethical viewpoint, which examine the moral inclusivity of creative financial instruments, particularly within the framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and with a focus on the post-Covid-19 world.
