Call for papers for: International Journal of Information and Learning Technology

CALL FOR PAPERS

We hope you are keeping well throughout these difficult times as we face challenges in our teaching and learning communities as well as local communities, families and home environments. 

The International Journal of Information & Learning Technology is providing a platform to share expertise to help alleviate some of the challenges on today's educators, related to online teaching transitions and virtual classrooms, during the COVID-19 crisis. The editorial team would like to share this call for papers for rapid-turnaround on the theme of the challenges of schools' rapid shift to online classrooms.

Themes for papers include:

  • COVID-19 and the implications to the rapid rise in online classrooms ensuring equity and access to all. What are the experiences, barriers, successes of online classrooms?
  • How are institutions, teachers and learners supporting innovative digital learning through blended and distance learning      
  • Rapid curriculum design methods to support online learning for both formal, non-formal and informal learning
  • Cases studies of institutions, educators and learners supporting online with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Papers accepted for publication will be made free to access by Emerald Publishing for 3 months upon publication.

Submission Details 

To submit an article please refer to the guidelines on the journal's page. Requests for revisions will occur quickly as papers submitted on this theme will be expedited through the peer review process.

We sincerely hope this will become a service effort to help and aid education practitioners and researchers through the contribution of the substantial knowledge and expertise of those in our community. If you find time and bandwidth and have an interest in lending your expertise, then we invite you to submit before 1st August 2020 if possible, although this date is a guideline and papers can be welcomed at any time.
