This webinar marks 15 Years of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) aims to take stock of the current global tobacco control landscape.
The webinar is hosted on the back of the recently published Drugs and Alcohol Today journal special issue Framework Convention on Tobacco Control: lessons learned on harm reduction and public health, which contains a series of articles reviewing the challenges and opportunities in tobacco control, through the lenses of diversity, development and tobacco harm reduction.
Running over two days (30 September and 1 October) the event will be convened by one of the journal editors, Axel Klein and Sudhanshu Patwardhan, guest editor of the recent special issue. Both days will feature expert contributors discussing key issues relating to diversity and development, and harm reduction, policy and practice. There will also be opportunities for audience members to pose questions to the panellists.
