Introduction
The Special Issue on "Sustainable Innovation in Management and Entrepreneurship Using Industry 4.0" aims to address the current literature gap at the intersection of sustainability and Industry 4.0 technologies, particularly in the fields of management and entrepreneurship. While Industry 4.0 advancements—such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, and blockchain—have significantly impacted various sectors, their specific applications in promoting sustainable innovation remain underexplored. Existing studies focus on technological innovations or sustainability in isolation, leaving a gap in understanding how these can be integrated to drive entrepreneurial and managerial practices that are both innovative and sustainable. This Special Issue seeks to bridge that gap by exploring how businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs can leverage Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance sustainability in their operations, products, and services. The issue aims to advance knowledge in areas like AI-driven business models for green innovation, sustainable supply chain practices using IoT, and blockchain for transparency in sustainable entrepreneurship. By focusing on the convergence of these technologies with sustainability principles, the Special Issue will address critical challenges such as resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the creation of sustainable business ecosystems, contributing to both academic discourse and real-world business applications.
