Research on the Superintendency
The aim of this special issue is to showcase new research on the superintendency (school district leadership) across diverse international contexts. We invite articles that delve into various aspects, including theoretical exploration, empirical research, practical applications, training methodologies, labour market trends, and the examination of the role of gender, race, and ethnicity in relation to individuals ascending to top leadership positions within school systems. Original research from qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methodologies will be equally considered in this open call for papers.
