Introduction
The aim of this special issue is to highlight examples of partnerships that facilitate professional learning opportunities for aspiring (pre-service) and practicing (in-service) school leaders from multiple countries. In meeting this aim, the special issue will help answer calls to better inform the preparation and continuing development of educational leaders by examining how partnerships between entities such as schools, districts, municipalities, universities, and communities operate in multiple national contexts with differing national policies, practices, and ways of knowing related to educational leadership preparation and development.
