Integrated Care and COVID
The COVID pandemic brought profound and sudden changes to health systems across the world. This Special Issue invites papers assessing the impact of COVID on integrated care services, how the pandemic transformed our understanding of integration in health and social care as well as what its lasting consequences may be for planning, designing and delivering integrated care to patients.
We are particularly interested in submissions dealing with new and innovative perspectives generated by the transformations of health and social care systems through health security and infection control measures, the view of integrated care from population health management, and the impact of the pandemic on the collaboration between social, community and hospital services. We welcome research papers, discussion and viewpoint papers as well as literature, systematic or rapid reviews.
If you would like to discuss your contribution to the Special Issue you can get in touch with the journal’s editor Axel Kaehne.
