Introduction
The aim of this special issue is to consider how young people use digital technology to support their mental health and wellbeing. Further, this special edition will look at how technology is designed to support young people and any associated issues. It will meet this aim by inviting a wide array of submission types. These will include empirical research papers utilising a variety of methodologies and considering different types of technology and technological interventions. It will also include systematic reviews focusing upon this area.
This issue will publish innovative research that reflects upon current developments in the way that digital technologies are being utilised to support young peoples’ mental health and wellbeing. The research will be interdisciplinary in nature and, as such, reflect work from a wide scope of researchers current in the field.
