Introduction
The original statement and description of the Concerns Based Adoption Model (CBAM) was introduced in 1973. Over the 50 years since each element of the model has been the subject of studies, applications, and verification. The aim of the Special Issue will be to present a set of papers summarizing the past work, a critique of what has been (and not been) done, and proposing steps that would be useful to conduct in the future.
