New Library World is one of Emerald's Library and Information Studies refereed, international (LIS) journals and aims to chart new developments for the library and information profession.
New Library World is a well regarded practitioner journal and downloaded in more than 110 countries. Set up in 1898 , it is one of the oldest library journals in the world and focuses on up and coming developments within the library profession. It is rightly judged as a qualitative and prestigious journal to publish in.
We are inviting submissions for 2014 issues
- We are looking for papers with a case study focus on new developments in LIS
- Case study articles should set the context by incorporating a literature review and should provide an evaluative, rather than descriptive, account of the case study.
Deadlines for submissions
- Submissions can be sent in throughout the year
- However please note the following deadlines
- For papers due to be published by end April 2014 please submit by: 15 January 2014
- For papers due to be published by June 2014 please submit by: 15 March 2014
- For papers due to be published by September 2014 please submit by: 1 May 2014
- For papers due to be published by November 2014 please submit by: 1 July 2014
