Advances in Health Care Management (AHCM) is a biannual research publication; contributions are double blind reviewed and are indexed by MEDLINE and Scopus. AHCM began as a research annual, first publishing in 2000.
Since becoming biannual in 2011, each year the series produces a volume that reviews the state-of-the-art in health care management (HCM) and a research volume on a special topic in the field.
Aims and Scope
As conceived by the founding editors, John D. Blair, Myron D. Fottler, and Grant T. Savage, the series provides a forum for leading research on health care management. Publishing biannually, one volume each year is devoted to the state-of-the-art in HCM and comprises review papers, while the second volume focuses on a specific topic and is devoted to empirical research studies of interest to scholars and practitioners. AHCM publishes research on all types of health care service and health care-related organizations, so long as it focuses on research questions of interest to the broad discipline of management. We invite interested scholars to contact any of the editors listed below to propose themed volumes and to serve as volume editors.
