All of our books are peer reviewed and are published electronically and in print editions, including our OA titles.

We have a growing number of professional titles and are looking to increase the number of books we publish in the fields of business, management, economics and finance. Emerald Points is a short-form book series that allows for a fast response to current affairs and contemporary issues. It can also include think-pieces or polemics, policy-focused research or findings with relevance for practitioners, in-depth case studies, theoretical or analytical work.

We publish a wide range of handbooks across all of our subject areas. Our handbooks provide the latest research from the key names in the field in an edited, focused collection.
Emerald publishes academic textbooks at upper undergraduate and postgraduate level. Our textbooks are available on inspection for course consideration.
At Emerald we believe in offering a range of open access options to our book authors and their sponsoring bodies. We offer open access across all of our book formats – monographs, handbooks, short form and professional content. Our open access books content goes through the same rigorous peer review process that all of our book content is put through to ensure we maintain the highest level of quality for all of the research that we publish.
Bringing together over 1,600 volumes and more than 140 book serials in the two key fields of business, management and economics and social science, our eBook collections feature cutting-edge, high quality international research. In addition, the Transport eBook collection brings together 47 Emerald book titles previously only available in print, this collection provides high quality, international research in transport related fields.
Emerald Gems is a series of volumes containing recently published research papers that have been carefully selected from Emerald journals, written by innovative and leading authors in their respective fields.
